Running a pipe through a wall.
If you have to run a pipe through a wall stud, floor or ceiling joists always make your hole is slightly larger than the pipe. Pipe expands when warm or hot water pass through them and the noise you hear is the pipe rubbing against the wood if the fit is to tight.
Always make the hole slightly larger than the pipe and it will help keep your water lines a little quieter the water is flowing through them.
