Low Volume Toilets don’t you hate them
In 1992 the U.S. Government made it law that ALL toilets had to be 1.6 gallon water volume. The National Association of Home Builders found that four out of five homes had problems with low volume toilets. They reported receiving more complains on low volume toilets than anything else. In recent years there has been some improvement in their design, but many homeowners still have to call in a plumber to deal with problems caused by low volume toilets. You might consider one of the new pressure driven toilets. They are still low volume but they use water pressure to flush instead of gravity and are much more efficient , although they are more expensive. The good news is that an average household can save up to 12,000 gallons a year using low volume toilets.
